Lindsey Dieter is the founder of LEVER STUDIO - a New York-based interior and lighting design agency that designs movement into the spaces we live, work, and play in. Trained as a contemporary ballet dancer, a fascination with movement and unwavering belief in the power of design to encourage physical engagement drive her creative work.
Before founding LEVER STUDIO, she was the Design Director at The SEED where she was instrumental in building the company, leading across every dimension of the business. Prior to that, Lindsey was an Interior and Active Design Lead at WeWork, collaborating with Fortune 500 companies to successfully re-imagine their workplace strategies and designs, and a Project Manager at HLB Lighting Design.
Lindsey received her Master of Fine Arts in Lighting and Interior Design from Parsons School of Design with Honors and was awarded the Double Major Graduate Thesis Prize. She has served as faculty, guest critic, and lecturer across the Lighting, Product, and Interior Design programs at Parsons since 2016. Her work has been recognized by Interior Design Magazine's Best of Year Awards, Best of Design by The Architect's Newspaper, and has been published in Dezeen, Azure, Forbes, Fast Company, AN Interior, and Superfuture. In 2022, she was selected as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Lighting Designers globally. She considers wellness in every aspect of her work and will complete her WELL AP Certification in 2026. Outside of the studio, you can find her on the Olympic weightlifting platform, racing bikes, or with her hands in a bucket of plaster.
